One of the best BBQ places in Stockton. Good BBQ is hard to find and this is great authentic southern style ! Don't miss out on this family run joint.

No complaints on the barbecue meat. The meat is always excellent...tender and great flavor. I noticed an issue with consistency. A couple of things about last nights dinner. For me, the barbecue sauce had a bit too much of an after bite. They now are cooking the ribs "dry" and give you the barbecue sauce on the side... which I like. Maybe offer a choice of two barbecue sauces. One original and and one a bit sweeter with less spice. The other two items that were off last night was the potato salad and baked beans. The potato salad had no flavor. I could not detect mustard or onions or any other specific flavors. And the beans did not seem to be the same as prior visits. Normally they are really tasty. The beans themselves were still quite firm. I like that they put chunks of meat in them. This certainly will not affect my future visits. Whenever I crave barbecue, I know where to go! If you haven't been there, it's worth a visit.

This place was closed for a whole week. I was worried it wouldn't reopen. I've been driving by looking for smoke, lol. I got lucky this week, they've been open and I had a chance to meet the owner. Very nice guy, Customer service A++++, food amazing, I may have to literally slap my mother hahaha

Been here a few times and the food is great.. baked beans are my favorite.. usually get the link and rib combo.. meat on the ribs just fall right off.. good portion sizes for the price.. looks like they expanded their menu with cold sandwiches also.. Friendly customer service..

Very pleased with the bbq here! The owner is a very nice gentleman and his staff is nice and helpful as well. The menu is simple and straightforward. I ordered the link plate w/greens and cornbread and the link chicken and rib plate with mac & cheese and baked beans as well. Pretty good price to food ratio, but i do wish my link plate came with a lil more link lol. The greens and cornbread are so bomb, the mac and cheese could've had a little bit more of a seasoning to it. Definitely reminded me of a home cooked bbq meal. All meats were very flavorful and tender. Bbq sauce is good, but i wish they had a spicy bbq sauce and spicy links! Will definitely continue to support this business.

AC made a BBQ Sampler Platter for my meeting with my coworkers. We had the BBQ ribs, chicken leg quarters and hot links. It was delicious! So were the side dishes of baked beans and potato salad! Give them a call to cater your next function!

Coming from the bay and working for a BBQ restaurant for years, I really like this place. The meat has a consistent taste and the sides are okay. The potato salad isn't the best but I seem to order it every time. I've been here 3 times and think they have great portions for the price. During my 3rd visit I waited for a very long time. I was waiting for food to finish cooking. I tried to be very patient and understand but I should Have gotten a rerun for the meat that wasn't ready. The owner made up for it so I will be back, just earlier in the day or I'll call ahead of time. The food is really good. As long as that doesn't change I plan to be a regular.

AC's Southern Style BBQ!!! I just found a new BBQ spot!! Actually I've heard of the spot for a while and I've only recently checked it out. My sister works with the owner who recently opened up this spot. It's in a unassuming spot that houses a mini-mart too. Decor is lacking but who needs it. I came for the barbecue not the frills. AC's provides just that. They had one gentleman workin who was in the middle of makin some pretty good lookin potato salad and doin the barbecue duties. Busy guy. I ordered the rib special and my sister had the pulled pork sandwich. My ribs were meaty, tender, and bathed in their delicious BBQ sauce. They give you a cup of extra sauce if you should want it. I did and even drank a little right from the cup. It's that good. Pulled pork sand was delish, I would prefer more pork however. Sides of beans were sweet yet spicy. They were a great compliment to the ribs and pulled pork. All in all, I'd come back in a heartbeat. I just wish they had everything on their menu available to eat. Potato salad and carrot cake were not available. If you like quality barbecue come to AC's in Victor, Ca!!
